Public Counsel honored Hecker Fink Partners Mack Jenkins and Matthew Craig for their work on immigrants’ rights in Vasquez Perdomo v. Noem and San Francisco v. Trump at the Pro Bono Awards Reception in Los Angeles on January 29, 2026.

The awards spotlight and honor individuals who have demonstrated exceptional dedication to “advancing justice and transforming lives in Los Angeles and across the nation.” Founded on and strengthened by a pro bono legal service model, Public Counsel is a nonprofit public interest firm dedicated to advancing civil rights and racial and economic justice through comprehensive legal advocacy.
