Jacob represents nonprofits, philanthropies, public officials, and individuals in addressing a wide range of compliance and risk management questions—and in responding to state and federal government investigations. His clients work in a broad array of issue areas and include immigrants’ rights, LGBTQ+ advocacy, environmental, and democracy groups.

Earlier in his career, Jacob was a litigation associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, where he worked on major federal investigations and complex civil litigation.

Jacob earned his J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School, where he was involved in the Democracy and the Rule of Law Clinic and served on the Editorial Board of the Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review. He received his undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, from Cornell University.
