“I’ve made my share of mistakes, but one of the more meaningful was thinking early in my career that I had to approach a matter the same way a more seasoned attorney did. Finding my own voice and developing an authentic style made me a better, more credible advocate and, ultimately, a more confident one. Role models are valuable, but you shouldn’t strive to be a carbon copy.”
