Profile: 2024 New York Law Journal Professional Excellence Awards Innovation Award Firm Finalist, Hecker Fink

Hecker Fink was profiled in the New York Law Journal for being named an Innovation Firm Award finalist as part of the 2024 New York Law Journal Professional Excellence Awards.

In a Q&A with the publication, Partner John Quinn discussed several of the firm’s proudest achievements from the past year, including the firm’s work in neutralizing Florida’s controversial “Don’t Say Gay” law. “In March, we secured a historic settlement agreement with the Florida State Board of Education, Florida Department of Education, and school districts that effectively nullified the most dangerous and discriminatory impacts of the law.”

The award recognizes “creative and inspiring approaches and forward-thinking firms and individuals” and “seeks to honor law firms that push the envelope to build their businesses.”

Finalists will be honored at an awards ceremony on September 5, 2024, in New York City.
